Hall Facilities

Our hall is open for hiring by 1WWS members, other Scout groups and the general public.
Bookings are subject to suitability and availability.

The hall has the following amenities:

• Large hall area
• Kitchen facilities (oven, microwave, fridge, sink, hot water, urn, Nespresso coffee machine)
• Log fireplace
• Heating/Cooling via reverse cycle airconditioning units
• Toilets x 2
• 15 tables and chairs for 75 people
• Off-street car parking for 40+ cars
• Pull down screen (for using an AV projector)

We do not supply the following (you must provide your own).

• Sound system / PA system
• AV projector
• Power leads or power boards

Long Term Hiring

Long-term hiring is available for organisations or not-for-profit organisations. Long-term bookings made and paid in advance are eligible for a discount and require an agreement, current Public Liability Insurance and a once-off $100 key deposit, which will allow receipt of a long-term key.

Short Term Hiring

Short-term (i.e. casual, once-off) hiring requires an agreement and a refundable bond of $100 to be paid. Nighttime bookings will only be available to direct members of the Scout group (i.e. for parties). Under ScoutsVic guidelines, we do not allow hall rental for 18^th or 21^st birthdays to the general public.

The hiring rates may be waived by the 1WWS committee for Scout groups or not-for-profit organisations. Events held by 1WWS or 1WWS members must be booked in advance.
